As the Autumn season begins to transition to the crisp Winter months, like me, you may be relaxing down by the fireplace, hoping to catch a few more falling leaves outside the window before the clamor of the holiday shopping begins, as the white of the snow covers the landscape (and especially the roads).

It is a time for wrapping up outdoor activities, and for beginning new indoor ones. The Winter has always been a wonderful time for designers; our built projects have just wrapped up, and we can focus our attention on the business of design. At James Montana Custom Home Design, we’re looking forward to a busy Winter full of creating bespoke homes for better living.

With this enthusiasm comes a new website that we are excited to roll out. We took extra care in creating through attention to coding detail and graphic design; the result is that we have created something that is not only easier to navigate, but also faster, and dare-we-say: more beautiful. We are truly proud of the hard work that our team has put together this past Fall, amidst many projects that have always taken our full attention.

In conjunction with this new website is a blogging series that will help you make the most informed choices when choosing the dream home you will live in. This blog will cover some of the more architecturally adjacent subjects, as well as provide design insight to help you plan for the future. We expect to cover topics such as pricing, selecting a contractor, some building basics to help you come up with clever ideas, and of course, design inspiration to get us all excited about what the future may bring.

We truly are excited and proud for the coming new year. We have some great projects to share, and look forward to creating even more. I leave this article on this toast: to a fond season of creating together. I hope to see you soon.
