About this project:

With Jason's mother aging in place, and a new baby on the way, Jason and Alyssa needed to grow their idyllic farmhouse to support three generations of family. In order to maintain the existing style, while including their own, an addition was put onto this farmhouse in Feeding Hills, Massachusetts. The house was split in two such that Jason's mother could have access to her grandchild, while Alyssa and Jason could have classically modern space to enjoy their own privacy.

The exterior of the building was subsequently cleaned and rebranded as well, creating a new look for an established business.

Thought and attention was paid to how they wanted to live in the coming years. Maintaining a scenic vista complete with river, but also fitting into the scenery. Details were addressed so that Christmas lights could be hung, a hearth fireplace could be enjoyed, and built-in casework was designed to create that farmhouse feel.
