About this project:

Chad and Christine came to us with a simple mission. They had a beautiful house in Preston, CT, and wanted to add on space to care for their aging mother. We were excited to work with them in order to bring their vision to life. Space was limited, so we partnered with local builders, Bialowas Construction so that we could maximize space, all while delivering on a promise to create a space beautiful enough for a cherished family member.


Simple, modern features adorn the space; it is at once reserved, but with just a enough pop and interest that the space creates many opportunities to entertain. An open floor plan concept connects the kitchen to the living area, perfect for guests, or even just having the family over dinner. Careful attention was paid to window placement, so that we could bring bright light and scenic woodlands views into the space, while still creating a composed exterior for curb appeal.
