About this project:

This Craftsman style custom home is situated on an open field with plenty of wooded space off in the distance. The client purchased the property with the intent of taking care of their parents as they aged in place, along with planning for children down the road.

We had a unique problem, where the house was situated in the exact opposite space to place to have a walk-out basement. By utilizing cut and fill, we were able to achieve our goals and regrade the site. One of the challenges the faced the project was phasing the project for future expansion. Some spaces were left unfinished, but to code, so that when the time came Kristen could customize it to her parents' and future childrens' needs. The result is a custom home with an illustrious master suite, double-sided fireplace, and stone veneer in exactly the style she was looking for.
